When I find quality timber in bags of firewood kindling I endeavour to up-cycle it. This clock turned out particularly nice. Timbers used are Mahogany, Walnut (possibly Queensland Walnut; it is not the same as American Walnut), Redgum, and a hard pine – my best guess is Celery Top Pine.
I made a total of three jigs to make this one clock – on the plus side they will be very useful into the future.
