I’ve been busy running some more Etching and Engraving tests on the xTool S1 laser. The Sale sign is on a white Acrylic with a black surface that is easily etched; I thought the acrylic would be translucent, hence I could back-light it, however that seems to not be the case – still a nice weatherproof sign material ideal for outdoor table placement – eg: wineries, pubs and cafés. Design was done in Inkscape and imported directly into the xTool software.
Second set of photos is etching/branding a couple of Walnut Bar Boards that I’ve had stashed away for some time – they just need finishing and some non-marking feet now before I put them up on my webstore.
